Exothermic-insulating sleeves are used to increase the yield in foundry practice. Function of the sleeve is predominant to enhance the effective casting modulus by increasing feeding efficiency. This is represented by a modulus extension factor (MEF)
Characteristic
Phenolic urethane resin comprises three components, first component is phenolic resin, the second component is a poly isocyanate, the third component is catalyst.
1. Fast solidification speed and uniform solid performance, higher release properties and high temperature strength;
2. Using time and release time ratio can reach more than 75%;
3. Does not contain S, P, Small gas flow, lower porosity.
4. Scattered well, reduce crack defects;
5. Wide adaptability, can be used in cast iron, cast steel, non-ferrous metals.
Using introduction
If using batch-type mixer, before prepare the mixed material, please pour the catalyst first added to the component 1 and uniformly mixed. Mixed it with the sand for 1 minutes, then add the component 2 and mix for 2 minutes. Then making the core using the mixed sand. If using the continuous mixer, the amount of catalyst components with the proposal to join the 1 resin sand, then adding 2 component resin. Immediately making core or molding after mixed.
Component 1 and component 2 ratio is generally (50~55%): (50~45%) . The amount of catalyst is 0.5~3% of component 1, and it should be added into the component 1 when using.

Matters needing attention
1 This product is stimulating to the eyes and skin. When using, workers should wear good appropriate protective clothing, gloves and protective glasses / mask.
2 Once the eyes contact with it, please lift the eyelids, wash eyes with the flow of water or saline flush 15 minutes and then go to the doctor.
3. The product is flammable. It should be stored away from the fire source, to avoid the heat or direct sunlight. If a fire, spray water, foam, CO2 or dry powder to put put the fire..
